Qsymia, the simply convenient choice for weight management.

How to take Qsymia

Convenient once-daily dosing1

1. Getting Started

It's important to start therapy correctly with the appropriate supply. You should get 2 prescriptions from your doctor.

Weeks 1-2

Starter Dose

Qsymia 3.75 mg/23 mg capsule

Take 1 Qsymia 3.75 mg/23 mg capsule once each morning for the first 2 weeks.1

You may or may not lose weight during this starter dose period. If not, don’t be discouraged. Move onto the prescribed recommended dose for weight-loss results.

2. Evaluate

After 12 weeks, if weight loss is less than 3% at the recommended dose, your doctor may want to escalate your dosage.

If you are between 12 and 17 years old and have not experienced a reduction of at least 3% of baseline BMI, your doctor may want to escalate your dosage. If, however, your weight loss exceeds 2 lbs/week, your doctor may want to consider a dosage reduction.

Weeks 13-14

Titration Dose

Qsymia 11.25 mg/69 mg capsule

On the first day of week 13, start Qsymia 11.25 mg/69 mg.1

If your doctor has escalated your dose, you will be on this dose for 2 weeks.
